❝ Before I started at UK Film Training Academy I had no experience working in the film industry as a spark or as a rigging Electrician but once I finished the 4 week course i gained enough knowledge to feel confident, even on my first day out on location/studio.

Rob Gavigan, who was the lead trainer throughout the course, was very professional, friendly, and very considerate of our level. The way Rob broke the training down was perfect for newcomers like myself to understand and absorb.

Once we got familiar with the different aspects of the work plus all the kit we then started to rig mock lighting situations and this is when the fun started and Rob still kept great focus on each individual and their progress throughout.

The facilities were perfect, as well as everyone involved within UKFTA, and I now carry the confidence and knowledge needed to work professionally and safely in the film industry. ❞
